The Taiwanese "conflict" in a nutshell

"Competition is a sin" - John D. Rockefeller, therefore imperialist capitalism needs to declare war on competitors who outperform them

Believing whether Taiwan is part of China or not, or whether China intends to imitate Russia because the evil Xi Jinping could decide out of the blue to invade and bomb Taiwan is irrelevant if nothing is done to avoid disaster.

Western rhetoric is more than a complete fabrication, it is shoddy fabrication. The truth is unattractive and often overlooked, but ignoring it doesn't make it go away! The negative consequences grow cumulatively and we cannot escape them.

If the armed conflict does occur, which is perfectly plausible, provoked, or unprovoked, each one of us can make our own judgement, trying if possible to be intellectually honest and look for credible information. We're going to face the greatest economic disruption of all time, precipitating unprecedented socioeconomic chaos.

Provoked or unprovoked, it is perfectly plausible that an armed conflict will occur, instigated by the US. I don't know what Macron's intentions were, nor is he someone I trusted, but the warning was given and all European "statesmen" who contribute actively or passively to the preparation of this conflict that will cause supply chains rupture and unprecedented socioeconomic chaos to follow the US/NATO dictates are traitors of the worst kind.

The January 2024 presidential elections in Taiwan could precipitate war because, if the "pro-Chinese" candidate of the Kuomintang party (KMT), open to develop closer ties with Beijing, has an advantage in the polls, the US could activate the plan to trigger the war, forcing China to react in ways that appear unprovoked to the “international” community.

Currently, only those who want to live deceived are fooled. The blueprint followed by the US is basically the same for decades. If we continue to allow US gangsterism to have free rein, the consequences for us Westerners are likely to become intolerable. We are free to choose sides, but if we have to justify our choices with lies, what do we gain? China does not want this war, the Chinese want the Taiwanese problem to be resolved over time. China has nothing to gain from this war, it is the US that wants to contain China and sanctions no longer have any practical effect.

And why does the US want to contain China? Because China is outperforming the US on all relevant parameters, even parts of the scientific community are leaving the US for China. And the worst thing that can happen to the US is for a pro-China candidate to win Taiwan's presidential election and deflate the current warmongering rhetoric. The situation is delicate, and we Europeans, who have a lot to lose and nothing to gain from a war against China based on lies, live in a state of irresponsible sleepwalking apathy. Henry Kissinger wrote that “To be an enemy of America may be dangerous, but to be a friend is fatal”. The time to sever these deadly ties of allegiance is now!

I have the impression that we should have an idea of what kind of future we want for Europe! Should we allow the future of Europe to be shaped by people like Annalena Baerbock, Ursula von der Leyen, Josep Borrell, Kaja Kallas, just to name a few of the shining pearls of European politics? Political, intellectual and diplomatic mediocrity supported by neoliberal and neoconservative dogmatism assuming that the rest of the world has to submit to the benevolent will of Western imperialism. We are talking about arrogant delusional hypocrites who, if not stopped, could lead us to total annihilation.
